| HOW TO USE OUR LIVE AUCTION FEATURE |
- JAVA PLUGIN
You have to have java-enabled browser. Java is a plugin that enables your browser to use special modules (called applets) that the live auction system is built of. You can download and test he plugin from these pages .
Java is becoming very popular environment so probably your browser aleady has it.
Testing - the best way to test is to try access our Live auction window. If you can see the window (with login button etc) - it means that all works right.
You may wait some time until the bidding window loads completely - during this time you may see a symbol of a "steaming coffee cup" - good sign - it means that you have java on your system.
- VIEWING THE AUCTION
Viewing the auction is not restricted - you can just go, open the Live window and see how the bids are coming. No login required !
- BIDDING LIVE
You have to be registered with us to take part in the bidding. This is to be done in two steps:
Register
You have to choose your login and password and provide us some information - to do this go to our registration section. This is the place where you choose your login that will enable your participation both in live or on-line auctions we organize.
Get the VIP status.
After having registered, you must get what we call VIP status. If it is your first time you do business with us we would ask you for a refundable deposit (equivalent to 10% your approximative purchase value, read more in our "How to buy" section).
If you pay the deposit through the our secure website then you get VIP status automatically.
If you pay different way, we assign you the status manually. The deposit is refundable if your purchase fails or accounted for purchase amount if you succeed.
- BIDDING PROCESS
Once you are accepted biding is very easy. By clicking the button you accept to pay the price shown on the button (including all premiums involved) for a lot being bid.
Sometimes it may happen that your reaction is too slow and someone from the auction floor (or other internet bidder) is quicker acknowledged by the auctioneer.
- SILENT BIDDING
You can also leave a silent bid . Of course you have to be registered and have VIP status to do it.
